Sara and Jason's love story first began in December 2019 right before the holidays when 2 single twenty-somethings happened to match on Facebook dating.

After talking for a few weeks, Sara invited Jason out with her friends on New Year's Eve. At midnight, Jason asked Sara to be his girlfriend, and their story began!

A year and a half later, Jason planned the most epic surprise for Sara; he told her that they were going to visit his mom in Louisville and head up to Bernheim Forest before celebrating his sister's birthday.


Once they got to Bernheim, the pair went to the rose garden overlooking the pond and Jason suggested that Sara take a picture of the lake. When she turned back around, he was down on one knee holding out a ring - obviously she said yes!
