Well…. Where to begin? Ah yes - the ever so legendary DM’s. Kailey decided after 6 years of being complete strangers to send a message on Instagram. She claimed to have seen Galen, Nicks twin brother, driving in Waxhaw whilst knowing he had moved to Rocky Mount, NC a year prior. In other words… she LIED on their first encounter. You might think it’d end there for them, but you couldn’t be more wrong. Nick is happy to say he took the bait - hook, line, and sinker.

They got caught up on the respective last 6 years, living their lives, and rolling with the punches of young love. From there, they agreed to see each other more and more. Before they knew it, they found themselves knee deep in 2 years worth of traveling the country, frigid mountain hikes, lazy weekends, and a TON of food.

Then came the fateful day - February 29th, 2024 - when Nick finally asked Kailey to spend the rest of her life with him. She (obviously) said yes and they brought in the leap year together!

If there are 2 things they’re sure about in this life it’s, (1) Jesus Christ Is Lord, and (2) they love each other more than they could ever imagine.
