We met at the wedding of our friends Andrew & Nicole in July 2022. Sara is a former co-worker of Nicole's. Ethan has been friends with Andrew since middle school and is a law school friend of Nicole's. Ethan introduced Nicole and Andrew.

Sara was seated at a different table at the reception, but another couple no-showed so Sara moved her seat to be at the table with more people she was friendly with and that table included Ethan. We chatted through most of dinner and eventually really hit it off at the after party.

For our first date, we went to see Aaron Sorkin's To Kill a Mockingbird. Sara has seen everything he has ever written and Ethan is a big fan as well. A perfect first date for two lawyers.
