Lucca is located in Tuscany on the north-western coast of Italy (about 30 kilometers from the Tyrrhenian Sea). The historic city is enclosed by a wall originally built in the 16th century during the Roman renaissance. Today it is a lovely, tree-lined path ideal for a stroll or bike ride (a great way to tour the town!). You can also view the city from one of its historic towards such as the Torre Guinigi & Torre delle Ore.
Lucca is home to so many beautiful landmarks from the San Martino Cathedral to San Michele in Foro. Its main square, Piazza dell’Anfiteatro, is also the perfect place to enjoy an aperitivo before exploring the medieval, cobblestone alleyways.

Lucca's central location between Florence (1.5 hours) and the coast makes it the perfect destination to explore the region of Tuscany. Make the 30-minute trip to Pisa or better yet, visit Cinque Terre - the five colorful villages along the Ligurian Coast (accessible via train, 2 hours)
