Like all fairytales begin, Nick and Sara met one fateful night through Hinge. Sara was on the couch swiping and noticed the picture of a tall, lanky lad jumping in the middle of a desert. The picture was intriguing and so was the British flag on Nick's page. Hoping to hear Nick's cheeky accent in person, Sara shot him a message.

Within a week they had a date set at Pulperia on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. The night of the date, Sara arrived at the bar and looked for Nick but he was nowhere to be found. She noticed the older man hunched at the bar and hoped she wasn't catfished. She messaged Nick who responded that he was sitting to the right of the bar. Sara texted, are you at Pulperia? I only see the bathroom to the right. Nick facepalmed at his table at Boqueria and took a long sip of sangria. No, Boqueria. Sara messaged, oops, wait for me, I'll be there in 10! and took a cab as fast as she could to the right location.

Since that fateful night, Nick and Sara have made a home together on the Upper East Side. Nick has since become a dog, cat and plant dad, Sara has learned to love football (European) and they survived covid together in lockdown. Their love for adventure keeps them on the move, travelling the world enjoying scuba diving, skiing, hiking, running and cycling together. Nick proposed to Sara in March 2022 at Bodegas Re winery in Chile after a marathon hiking trip in Patagonia.

Carrying on the vino tradition, we can't wait to get married in front of everyone in wine country, California!
