Welcome to my love story, featuring Aaron.

Once upon a time in the digital kingdom of Facebook, a man slid into a woman’s DM’s attempting to shoot his shot. Unbeknownst to him, he would attempt this “shot” three times before she decided to allow him a chance. Once the two met in person (plus third wheel Tre Ennis *Hey Brother in Law!), the woman fell under the man’s love spell, and the rest is history.

Aaron and I officially met on May 23, 2014. Shortly after, he asked me to be his girlfriend on June 23, 2014 and then again on June 23, 2023 asked me to be his wife. It seems safe to say that 23 is our number….and if it’s not then what a coincidence!

Aaron is my one true love story. We have spent almost the last decade together learning, growing, falling, thriving and most importantly figuring out how to love each other through it all. With that being said, we will be getting married on August 23, 2024, sharing an anniversary with my lovely grandparents and celebrating another 23! I am so excited to invite you all to join the beginnings of a new chapter in our love story!

They say you miss 100% of the shots that you don’t take. Well let’s just say I was 0/3 in Sara’s DM’s before she actually gave me a chance.

On May 23rd, 2014 I decided to ask Sara on a movie date to see X-Men:Days of Future Past (with my little brother as the third wheel). Little did I know that this day would be the opening scene to the greatest love story I could’ve ever imagined.

We initially met on May 23rd, 2014! I asked Sara to be my girlfriend on June 23rd, 2014! The number 23 remained a symbol of unique alignment that brought us together and ultimately led to me asking Sara to be my wife on June 23rd, 2023!

Sara, has always made me feel like the luckiest guy ever. Our story has been a decade in the making. Our journey has been with filled with laughter, tears and moments of understanding.

God has always been our foundation! Through God, we will find strength. Through God we have found love. On this day, through God, we will become one.
