One of Sara & Colin's first dates was a Sam Smith concert at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, OH. Neither are fans of Smith, but the tickets were free! Shortly after the concert started, Sara and Colin retreated to the Varsity Club for burgers.

UNICEF’s Masquerade Ball was Sara & Colin's first chance to dress up together. Sara knew Colin was special when he asked if she wanted to bring flip flops when her feet hurt later in the evening.

Is it love? Only one way to find out! Colin's first birthday gift to Sara will always be her favorite: Kevin!

"Over the Top" is one of Colin's love languages. The first time he brought Sara flowers, she thought it was a wedding centerpiece.

Colin isn't the only one who can raise the bar! For his 21st birthday, Sara threw Colin a karaoke party - complete with a bottle cap crown.

Sara & Colin's first travel adventure together was seeing Colin's favorite band, The Heavy, at LouFest. They say traveling is a true test of a relationship, and this trip was a test alright: a dirty hotel, rain, mud, sunburn, an absent dog sitter, and "that time Sara didn't listen and almost got me arrested for taking a photo in the elevator of the Arch".

Sara worked nights, Colin had to be up early. Most of the time they met in the middle on Sara's porch for a quiet moment before the day took them in different directions.. This is when they knew: maybe this little family was a forever thing.

Sara graduated from Ohio State and Colin couldn't be more proud.

To celebrate Sara's graduation, the couple ran away to Europe for two weeks. Ask Colin how to get to the best Swedish meatballs in Stockholm - he still remembers the directions!

And then it was time for a new adventure: goodbye, Columbus - hello, Philadelphia! There were growing pains. Colin got two flat tires his first night in the city and the whole family missed having a yard. But they fell in love with the East Coast and decided to stick around.

The pandemic changed the whole world, and they were no different. Quarantine gave Sara & Colin the opportunity to spend more quiet, distraction-free time together.

Sara always wanted to go to Portugal, and a long pandemic, they decided it was time for an adventure. The trip was magical and full of exciting adventures.

In the magical city of Sintra, Colin insisted on touring the Quinta da Regaleira. There is a mysterious initiation well, said to be used for ceremonies by the Knights Templar.

When Sara & Colin reached the bottom, there was a lovely waterfall into a quiet pond. There, Colin surprised Sara by proposing with a beautiful ring in a felt turtle box.

Sara & Colin are eager for the future together, a new family with its own path.
