Sara visits New Mexico and we meet in person for the first time. The first year of our relationship was long-distance.

Jess visits Sara in Illinois for the first time. She had never been to Chicago!

We shared so many fun memories in New Mexico, one of the best being running the Pride 5k!

Eventually the time came for a new adventure. We packed up our belongings in U-haul (because what would a good lesbian love story be without a U-haul?) and moved from New Mexico to Virginia.

We quickly settled into our new life here and got to spend some extra time visiting Jess's family farm.

Sara even completed the Roanoke Half-Ironman Race!

On August 2nd, Jess and Sara went down to Grandfather Mountain in North Carolina for a hike. Little did Sara know Jess had a little something up her sleeve, literally!

Once we reached the peak Jess pulled out the ring and got on one knee. She was so nervous she forgot to actually ask Sara to marry her. That was okay though, Sara had already blurted out, "Yes!"

Since then, we have been planning our big day and are so excited to share it with you! We love you all and are so grateful to have you in our lives!
