It was love at first mini golf date! We met in the Summer of 2020 at our local mini golf course. We ended up playing a total of 36 holes, yet neither of us wanted the date to end. We continued our night with lots of conversation in the parking lot (keep in mind, date options were slim in 2020!) which only ended because they shut the lights off. Needless to say, we were both on our best (last) first date ever.
As time went on, our relationship evolved & we officially began dating. Brian met the Ruby family first at none other than a St. Patrick’s day party. The Stepniak introduction followed not long after. We both value family dynamic, so this was an important step for us. Still working on converting the Stepniaks to Notre Dame fans, but that’s neither here nor there!
Fast forward to June 2024. We went to Avalon, NJ for a relaxing beach weekend as boyfriend & girlfriend & we left as fiancés! It was truly one of the happiest moments of our lives.
Over the last few years, we have learned so much about ourselves as a couple & we feel so lucky for the love & life we share. We cannot wait to see where the future takes us & we are so grateful that we get to experience it together, forever.
