Washington, D.C. Highlights
We know Washington D.C better, so these are some of our suggestions.
The National Mall
The National Mall is home to many of D.C.'s famous landmarks, including the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, and U.S. Capitol. It’s also a beautiful place to take a walk and enjoy the scenery.
Smithsonian Museums
The Smithsonian museums offer a range of fascinating exhibits—and they’re all free! Popular options include the National Museum of American History, the Air and Space Museum, and the National Museum of Natural History. If you want to do the Air and Space Museum which is great you need to get timed free tickets online when they become available (at 8:30 am and will often get reserved quickly).
White House and U.S. Capitol
Take a tour (if you book in advance) simply admire the iconic architecture from the outside. The U.S. Capitol and White House are must-sees in the city.
Georgetown
This charming neighborhood is known for its historic homes, upscale shops, and iconic waterfront. It’s a perfect place to spend an afternoon strolling along the waterfront or exploring the boutique-lined streets.

There are a limited number of kosher restaurants in Washington D.C.
There is Char Bar in the West End neighborhood, which is meat sit down restaurant.
There is also Oh Mama's Grill a meat Shawarma restaurant in the Adam's Morgan neighborhood.
There are additional options in the Maryland suburbs.
Baltimore:
There are a wide variety of kosher restaurants in Baltimore. We have only been to a few.
Ta'am Thai is a Thai meat resturant in the Pikesvile neighborhood.
We have heard very good things about several other restaurants, such as Serengeti steakhouse.
