Sarah Beth and Matt first met in Nashville in September of 2021 on set for a show taping of their newly shared client, BRELAND. While masks were still required on site at the time, having only talked to Matt through email (professionally of course), Sarah Beth had to take a chance and just assume the man she went up to introduce herself to was in fact Matt. And it was! From there it was fate. Not really though.

While living in separate states, the two worked professionally for quite some time, but both enjoying each other's personality and banter. Fast forward 6 months, and the relationship blossomed into something much deeper. Their connections grew stronger and after realizing they were actually interested in each other, love was quick to follow.

They had begun to talk with being more than friends in mind, and the more Matt traveled to Nashville for work, the more their connection grew. They turned this into a first date at Barcelona Wine Bar (shoutout to wine) and they talked for hours on end. And from that moment on, they knew it was meant to be.

There’s a pivotal moment in Matt’s life where he knew she was the one. His family came to Nashville to attend a concert (of course) and took the new couple out to dinner. They hadn’t even been dating a month yet. “I could tell within 2 minutes of all of us being at the same table together that this was the girl I was going to marry” says Matt. “It was the most natural conversation I’ve ever had and it felt like they had known her for years” as the bright and bubbly personality of Sarah Beth flourished. Matt recalls a specific memory of his dad (who is his best man) hugging him and giving him a handshake at the end of dinner saying “well done son”. And it was at that specific moment that he knew.

After proposing to Sarah Beth at her favorite winery, Arrington Vineyards, she was glowing of happiness, answering with “wait, what?”. Surrounded by their best friends and family, she immediately said yes and the two have been living happily ever since. Alongside the other loves in their life, Poppy and Penny, the two can’t wait any longer to be married!

Sarah Beth recalls, "I remember seeing him at the winery that day on what was supposed to be my girls' weekend and I said 'You better have a good reason to be here if you're crashing my girls' weekend!!' Turns out it was the best day of my life (thus far)! I'm so lucky to have Matt in life and it doesn't hurt that he has such an incredible family and the best friends, too. ;)"

“The idea of spending forever with Sarah Beth is something that I never take for granted," says Matt. "She is the love of my life and I can’t wait to spend eternity alongside her. I won’t let you down Don."
