What is the Welcome Event?
We are so honored that so many of our guests are traveling from across the country to attend our wedding! We are hosting a welcome event to spend as much time as possible with all of you! We will be providing appetizers, beer, wine, and spirits. Not to worry though if you are coming hungry, Haymarket Pub & Brewery's kitchen will be open to all guests!
All guests are welcome to attend, feel free to RSVP on the website!
Where is the ceremony?
The ceremony will be held at Washington Square Park located directly across from The Newberry Library. If there is inclement weather the ceremony will be held inside The Newberry Library.
Where is Cocktail Hour and the Reception?
Cocktail hour will be held inside the lobby of The Newberry Library. Following cocktail hour, we will proceed to Ruggles Hall inside the Newberry for the reception.
Is there Parking?
The Newberry Library will have approximately 28 spaces available for guest parking.
If the lot becomes full,
the Newberry Library has extended an agreement with the following parking facility that will be
available to staff and guests of the Newberry Library. The rate and garage location are listed below.
When a guest of the Library presents a parking ticket at the Security Kiosk (located in the lobby next to the staircase), the guard will stamp the ticket, indicating use of the Newberry Library Facility. When the validated ticket is presented to the garage attendant, the discount rate will be applied.
Facility Operated by Interpark (312-935-2800): 100 W. Chestnut St - Entrance on West side of Clark St.
$11 for six hours or less
$13 for eight hours or less
Over 8 hours, Regular Rates Apply.
Will transportation be provided?
Transportation will not be provided. The Talbott Hotel is located 0.2 miles from Washington Square Park/The Newberry Library, which is a short 4 minute walk!
How do I reserve a ticket for the Cubs Game?

How much are the cubs tickets and how do I pay?
The Cubs tickets are $35/each. Payment can be made to Tim Kominiarek. Tim accepts payment in the form of cash, check, Venmo, PayPal, Bitcoin, NFTs, or Blue Chip casino vouchers.
