Sarah's senior year of college at UWGB, she decided to live on campus for the first time. Her roommate Allie decided to have a little party for her birthday, and invited her boyfriend Chris and Chris's best friend Michael, who showed up wearing a Spider-Man hoodie that instantly caught Sarah's attention.

11.16.2013 -- When we met

With on-and-off contact for several months, Michael and Sarah had their first official date on Sarah's last day of class at UWGB. They went to see the fireworks on campus, but it ran late and they didn't have time for dinner before going to the movies. So because they were in a rush, and are classy AF, they grabbed a quick bite at McDonalds before going to see "The Amazing Spider-Man 2."

5.9.2014 -- Our official first date

They were at a bonfire at their friends Emily and Derick's house in Door County to kick off the summer. Fireworks were going off, then Michael realized it was time for him to put down his beer, and Emily was tasked with taking the wine glass from Sarah. Michael suddenly started dragging Sarah closer to the fireworks and suddenly got to one knee. Naturally since he had faked proposed so many times before, Sarah was skeptical if it was real but still excitedly announced "yes."Champagne was popped and cupcakes were brought out, since everyone apparently had been in on it the whole time except for Sarah.

Gillianne Rekowski - Maid of Honor

Gillianne is the greatest big sister I could have ever asked for. I've known her literally my entire life. In fact, when I was a baby, my first word was actually "Gigi," since I couldn't say "Gillianne."

My favorite story will forever be when Gilli and I attended an Independence Day parade and I was given a popsicle from one of the floats and not her, I screamed to the distributor: "Hey! What about my sister, mister!" He actually returned to give Gillianne a popsicle as well.

She has always been my Sailor Venus, accepting and supportive of everyone and would always do anything she could to make me smile!-Sarah

Emily Rouer - Maid of Honor

Emily and I might not be blood related, but she is for all intents and purposes my sister.

We met in 6th grade&nbsp;when she slipped an Aaron Carter poster in my locker after hearing&nbsp;that I was pretty obsessed with him. We soon after joined the same Destination Imagination group and we have been best friends ever since.

She has always had the feisty, fiery spirit of Sailor Mars, never afraid to&nbsp;speak out. She is my hero.-Sarah

Andrea "Brown Deer" Rooney - Bridesmaid

Andrea (or B.D. as I call her) has been one of Michael's best friends for years, way back in his "Stein's Gardens and Gifts" days.

When BD got transferred from the Brown Deer Road location (hence the nickname) to the store Michael worked, he wouldn't talk to her at first&nbsp;because he thought she was corporate, but soon realized she is pretty cool.

BD and I have bonded over our mutual love for Studio Ghibli films and Sailor Moon. Interestingly, she does exhibit the level-headed characteristic of Sailor Mercury, her favorite.-Sarah

Syndal Chayer - Bridesmaid

Syndal is my amazing sister-in-law. When my brother first brought her home, we just loved her, and she has since become a huge part of our family!

She may see tough, but she is one of the friendliest people you will ever meet with a heart of gold, and much like Sailor Jupiter, she sure can cook!-Sarah

Karen Betancourt - Bridesmaid

Karen is my little cousin. Growing up, we were really close, visiting each other at least once a year.

No matter how old she gets, she will always be the little girl with the crazy curly hair screaming to go back to the water. Maybe that rebellious, independent spirit that reminds me so much of my younger self that also makes me think of Karen as Sailor Mini-Moon.-Sarah

He's the okayiest person you will ever meet.The first time I met him, I wanted to punch him. We had a class together in middle school, I want to say English, and yeah...kinda wanted to punch him for no reason.-Mike

We have blocked off rooms for both Friday and Saturday night. Rooms sleep 4, with a queen bed and a sleeper sofa at $120 / night. Rooms must be booked by May 15th You must call and tell them you are with the Grayson wedding for this rate. They may offer you a room for free if you become a member, I’m told and this is apparently not true.
