As our wedding falls on Saturday, October 4, 2025, it coincides with the start of the world-renowned Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta—an event that draws visitors from around the globe.
With the Fiesta running through Sunday, October 12, we highly recommend booking your travel and accommodations well in advance to ensure availability.
Travel Options:
Flying In: You can fly into either Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ) or Santa Fe Regional Airport (SAF). Albuquerque offers more direct flights, while Santa Fe is closer to our venue.
Car Rentals: Renting a car from Albuquerque allows you more freedom to explore the area at your own pace. It’s about a 1-hour scenic drive to Santa Fe.
Train to Santa Fe: Alternatively, for a more relaxed travel experience, you can take the New Mexico Rail Runner Express from Albuquerque to Santa Fe and get around using local transportation.
About The Balloon Fiesta:
The Balloon Fiesta will feature daily balloon ascensions (weather permitting), and we encourage guests to explore some of its iconic events:
Mass Ascension: Watch hundreds of balloons launch at dawn—an unforgettable sight. Plan to arrive as early as 4:30 AM to beat the crowds.
Balloon Glow: We’ll be attending the Balloon Glow on Sunday night, where tethered balloons light up the night with their glowing burners.
This event includes food, art vendors, and a dazzling drone show.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you in this magical season of hot air balloons and Southwestern beauty!
