1. What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal.
Look nice, but also comfortable.
Be aware, there will be outside events at the reception. The grounds are beautiful and there will be games available in the grass. Dancing will be on dry concrete with a dance floor.
You can bring more comfortable shoes for the reception if you desire.
2. What will the weather be like this time of year?
Hopefully, the weather should be warm and dry. In case of rain, please dress accordingly and bring an umbrella and a light jacket. Some of the reception will be outside under a tent.
3. Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?
Ceremony: Bethel Baptist Church

4. Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony and most of the reception will be inside. Dancing and some games will be outside under a tent.
5. What happens after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby and at the venue for around an hour. Guests can head straight to Water's Edge where we will be serving finger foods and beverages.
There will be no alcohol served, nor is alcohol allowed on the premises.
6. Does your wedding have a theme?
Our Wedding has a slight overarching theme of the Princess Bride.
7. Are there other wedding events I can attend?
After the ceremony, there will be finger food, beverages, outside games, and coloring crafts for kids available at Water's Edge as you wait for the wedding party.
8. What should I do if I can’t make it?
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
9. How do I get to the venue?
The address of both the ceremony and reception is on the home page. GPS works best as the service is great.
10. What time should I arrive?
We recommend that you arrive at least a half an hour before the start of the ceremony. This will ensure that everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!
11. Where should guests park? Is parking free?
Parking is free and paved for both the ceremony and the reception.
12. Are kids welcome?
Yes, kids are welcome. However, the main issue is that we are trying to keep the numbers low, due to having those who are at-risk attending the wedding. We will also be wearing masks when walking inside, so that can be difficult for children.
13. Can I bring a date?
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget and have lower numbers for those who are at-risk. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
14. Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?
There are several hotels near the area that are reasonably priced:

15. When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?
Please RSVP no later than April, 30th.
You can respond to the RSVP on this website. It is SO much easier than mailing it back.
16. Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?
Both the ceremony and reception are easy to access and are wheelchair accessible.
17. Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?
Following the ceremony, there will be non-alcoholic beverages appetizers.
At around 5:00/5:30pm, we will start the main course meal of chicken bruschetta or roast beef, roasted red potatoes, sauteed veggie mix, bow tie noodles with cheese, soup, and salad.
18. Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?
Please let us know ASAP if you are allergic to anything and we can accommodate you. It should not be difficult.
19. Where are you registered?
We are moving and are unsure what we will need. Gift cards or money would be best. ^_^
In the Registry section of this website, there are a few items in the Bed, Bath, and Beyond registry if you choose a physical gift. Also, you can give something specifically on your heart for us.
Within the electronic registry, we have blue house icon that is our "New Home Fund" option where you can give electronically to go towards our new home.
20. Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?
All guests are responsible for transportation to and from the ceremony and reception areas.
21. May I take a centerpiece/candle/flowers home as a souvenir?
If you are helping at the wedding, you will receive a special thank you gift from our decorations.
22. Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
Yes! If you are taking pictures, please be considerate to the Photographer and please do not use your flash.
We encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #asyouwishans so we can keep track of all of your pictures from our wedding. Thank you!
