Sarah and Kasey met in the summer of 2006 at the University of Florida when they both auditioned to be members of the Florida Gator marching band. Both being in they trumpet section, they had many shared experiences including numerous football games, trips, social gatherings, and being section leaders together for three years.

It wasn't until after graduation, when they were both living in Tampa, that they began spending more time together. Along with fellow trumpet player, and best man, Cameron Crandell they dubbed themselves the Tampa Trumpet Trio. During this time Kasey and Sarah discovered that their mutual interests extended far beyond their weekly trivia outings and a love for Gator football. They also have a shared taste in music, they love going to the movies together, and both have a strong desire to travel.

Despite Kasey trying to second guess all of the signals, even he couldn't deny their chemistry. And now here we are today.
