Although they are both from New Jersey, when they first met, Sarah was away at college at Virginia Tech and Dave was touring all over the US with his band, Action Item. Sarah has always had a passion for music, going to concerts, and listening to live bands. After first connecting on social media, Dave invited Sarah to come see him perform while she was home in New Jersey for winter break. She went to Irving Plaza in New York City to see his band, and afterwards they went out for flatbread pizza and talked for hours. They had an immediate connection, but Dave went on to continue touring, and Sarah went back to Virginia. They texted nonstop, and Dave made several memorable trips to see her. Their relationship continued to grow, and they finally decided to officially date long-distance as boyfriend and girlfriend almost a year later.

To celebrate seven years of dating, Sarah and Dave went on a vacation to the beautiful island of Aruba. Sarah loves photography, so Dave arranged for a professional couple’s photoshoot at sunset. While making the arrangements, Dave had been secretly talking to the photographer about proposing to Sarah. A few days into their trip, Dave snuck away and delivered the diamond engagement ring. After taking many different pictures in various places around the resort, the time finally arrived. Sarah was instructed to look out across the ocean at sunset while Dave stood back. When she turned around, Dave was down on one knee asking the most important question, “Will you marry me?” to which Sarah of course responded “Yes!”

After more than ten years of dating, Sarah and Dave are so excited to finally tie the knot! They will be getting married in a church ceremony, followed by a reception at Park Chateau Estate and Gardens. They can’t wait to call each other husband and wife and are looking forward to celebrating with their closest friends and family.
