What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
Our wedding will be black tie optional. Please dress to impress! Tuxedos or dark suits are appropriate. This is a great opportunity to wear full-length dresses, but cocktail dresses are also suitable. We ask that you please refrain from wearing casual attire or sneakers and that women do not wear white.
How do I select my dinner entrée?
Our wedding invitations do not include a dinner selection because our venue offers a table-side meal selection. During the wedding reception, the waiters will ask you which entrée you would like. There will be a choice between beef, chicken, fish, and a vegetarian option. Please also be sure to make your waiter aware of any specific food allergies or restrictions at this time.
Are children welcome?
As much as we love your little ones, please note that our wedding reception will be an adults-only affair.
Can I bring a plus one?
We would love to have everyone celebrate with us, but we are only able to extend invites to those listed on the invitations/RSVP. Thank you for understanding!
What should I know about the ceremony?
The wedding ceremony will be off-site at Our Lady of Peace Church in North Brunswick, NJ. The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00 PM, so please arrive prior to that.
We kindly request that you refrain from taking photos and videos during the ceremony so that everyone can enjoy the moment and be fully present with us.
What should we do between the ceremony and the reception?
We expect the wedding ceremony to end around 5:00 PM. Travel time from the church to the venue is approximately 15 minutes, but please keep in mind that it will be rush hour and events in town may cause additional traffic. The cocktail hour starts at 6:30 PM. We recommend that you arrive 15 minutes early to enjoy a welcome glass of champagne. Guests are also permitted to walk through the beautiful gardens on site at the Park Chateau as people arrive. However, we ask that you try not to arrive at the venue much earlier than 6:00 PM.
What about parking?
The Park Chateau offers on-site valet parking. They will also allow vehicles to be left overnight, if needed. The Hyatt Regency hotel has an on-site parking garage, which charges a parking fee.
Will there be an after party?
There will be an after party in the bar at the Hyatt Regency Hotel for those looking to keep the party going! Please see the main page of our website for more details. It will be a private party for wedding guests only. Please note that this portion of the evening will have a cash bar.
