There are probably a few different variations of this floating around, particularly depending who you talk to. In short, we met at work. Our paths rarely crossed in the first year, and it wasn't until an incredibly random, awkward and entertaining happy hour that we had a real conversation. That proved to be just the ice breaker we needed to build a friendship. After a few group outings with other coworkers, and a 12 week leadership course, we eventually began spending more time alone. It only took 5 dinner dates to realize it was more than "just friends."

We've been blessed to spend the last few years getting to know the best about each other and enjoying the humor, companionship and vibrancy that we each bring to the table. There have been trips to Jamaica, Hilton Head, Scottsdale, Asheville, and most recently, Portugal, which have made over/under-packing tendencies all too apparent. Many a clumsy moment has led to numerous boo-boos, scars, ice packs, and "kisses to make it feel better." In 2014, we purchased an adorable home together, and invested countless hours, blood, sweat and tears in creating our cozy and happy little home. It's been the perfect place for Pinterest recipe fails, eating ice cream out of the container, leaf raking, and techno dance parties. In 2015, we expanded our family with a mischievous black lab puppy, Molly, who enjoys chewing on the dining room chairs, eating toilet paper and acorns, and running "zoomies" around the coffee table. Our life is full and happy and we can't wait to start the rest of our forever!
