Our Wedding

188 Forks Church Road, Leechburg, PA 15656 Lingrow Farm is a beautiful restored farm and special events barn located about 45 minutes east of downtown Pittsburgh. The green fields, large pond, and mature trees will be the perfect backdrop for our big day. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside and the night will conclude with a bonfire.

About Us

There are probably a few different variations of this floating around, particularly depending who you talk to. In short, we met at work. Our paths rarely crossed in the first year, and it wasn't until an incredibly random, awkward and entertaining happy hour that we had a real conversation. That proved to be just the ice breaker we needed to build a friendship. After a few group outings with other coworkers, and a 12 week leadership course, we eventually began spending more time alone. It only took 5 dinner dates to realize it was more than "just friends."

How We Met

Our Story

The Last Four Years

We've been blessed to spend the last few years getting to know the best about each other and enjoying the humor, companionship and vibrancy that we each bring to the table. There have been trips to Jamaica, Hilton Head, Scottsdale, Asheville, and most recently, Portugal, which have made over/under-packing tendencies all too apparent. Many a clumsy moment has led to numerous boo-boos, scars, ice packs, and "kisses to make it feel better." In 2014, we purchased an adorable home together, and invested countless hours, blood, sweat and tears in creating our cozy and happy little home. It's been the perfect place for Pinterest recipe fails, eating ice cream out of the container, leaf raking, and techno dance parties. In 2015, we expanded our family with a mischievous black lab puppy, Molly, who enjoys chewing on the dining room chairs, eating toilet paper and acorns, and running "zoomies" around the coffee table. Our life is full and happy and we can't wait to start the rest of our forever!

Complimentary Shuttle

Transportation will be provided between Lingrow Farm and the SpringHill Suites Pittsburgh Mills so that you can safely enjoy all the party has to offer. Detailed information about bus departure times will be provided closer to the big day. If you are not staying at the hotel, but would still like to utilize the shuttle for convenience, just let us know!

Pittsburgh Happenings

<a href="http://pittsburgh.pirates.mlb.com/index.jsp?c_id=pit">PITTSBURGH PIRATES</a>Let's Go Bucs! Baseball games at PNC Park are always fun and a great family-friendly activity in the 'burgh. The ballpark food makes it even better, too. The Brewers will be in town for wedding weekend with games on Friday night and Sunday afternoon.<a href="http://www.steelers.com/">PITTSBURGH STEELERS</a>Six-time Superbowl Champions, being a Steelers fan is basically a requirement in Pittsburgh. Games are loud and the fans are passionate passionate, making for a great excuse to celebrate whether you're at Heinz Field or not!<a href="http://www.pittsburghpanthers.com/">PITT PANTHERS</a>As Alumni, Jesse and I are both fans of the Blue and Gold. Panthers games are a little less rowdy (and a little more affordable) than the Steelers games but still held at the majestic Heinz Field. The schedule hasn't been released yet, but you should be tied up on Saturday celebrating with us anyway!

Ashley, Maid of Honor

Ashley may be my cousin, but growing up she filled the void of the-sister-I-always-wanted and proved to be a particularly good/bad influence during our college years. We became "actual" sisters when I followed in her footsteps to join Theta Phi Alpha at Pitt. She's been my partner-in-crime for decades now, I'm so exited to have her by my side for this momentous occasion. I only hope she ugly-cries half as much as I did at her wedding.

Taylor, Bridesmaid

One of my longest friends, Taylor and I bonded over straw Steve Madden wedges in 6th grade Sunday school. I knew immediately that she had impeccable style, which I've been trying to emulate for years. Through high school and college, we've remained each other's best cheerleaders and she's been the Tina to my Amy. When she gets married in November 2016, I can't wait to stand by her side!

Megan, Bridesmaid

I like to think that Megan and I both accidentally ended up in a sorority as fate's way of bringing us together. We're so similar it's sometimes/often scary but it makes it all the more fun. As she continues her education in clinical psych, she's gotten a lot of practice as my pseudo-psychiatrist over the years. Her rational but vibrant nature will keep us all sane.

Kate, Bridesmaid

Kate and I met moving into our freshman dorm in 2010. That year we were neighbors but soon became inseparable (sort of like an old married couple but with more pizzaz) for the next 4 years. Prior to her leap into medical school, we adventured to Dublin and Paris where we proved that carbs can and should be the center of a happy diet. Being my original "spouse" during college, I'm so glad she's a part of this big day!

Maurizia, Bridesmaid

Maurizia is my future sister-in-law, travel aficionado and overall hostess with the mostess. Not only does she throw a killer party, but she shares similar passions for being a dog-mom, cooking up a storm and eating assorted cheeses. Thank goodness she survived all those years of living with Jesse, because I'm excited to have her as my sister!

PIERRE, BEST MAN

JASON, GROOMSMAN

Jason and I met in architecture school through a shared passion... the Steelers. Both in need of Steeler support in Saint Louis we came to watch many games together, and still talk football regularly. We also spent countless weekends and nights over the course of a year building an architectural model for a museum in Helsinki Finland. From time to time Jason has been known to get hangry and need a Thai crunch bowl....hopefully the food at the reception will suffice,

DJ, GROOMSMAN

DJ is a roommate from a different decade. Known for his clean Air Jordans, and his ability to drop a set of 40lb dumb bells in a second floor dorm room. We spent countless nights finishing up homework and telling jokes. Any good attributes of my golf game can be accredited to DJ.

SAM, GROOMSMAN

Sam and I met during architecture school where we both shared a passion for architecture and practical jokes. Our time in school also included a summer together as roommates in Barcelona. Sam currently resides in Philadelphia where he designs cutting edge building fascades.

PETE, GROOMSMAN

Known as "Pistol Pete" by many, you can often hear this guy coming from a mile away on his Harley, or catch him zipping around in his compact little orange Fiesta. After all those years of torturing his little sister, it's only fitting that he should be at the altar making goofy faces during the ceremony.

Registry

Transportation to and from Lingrow Farm will be provided from the Springhill Suites Pittsburgh Mills. We hope anyone who intends on drinking will spend the evening with us and make use of the shuttle!The shuttle will depart from the hotel at 3:15pm. Two shuttles will run at the conclusion of the evening - the first at 10 pm and the second at 11:30 pm.
