Are children allowed?

We would love to see your family through the weekend of events and family gatherings! However, we have decided to keep the wedding an adults-only affair, with the only exception being those in the wedding party. We hope that with this notice, you will be able to make arrangements to attend our wedding, and take a well-deserved night off! We've provided a list of suggested babysitters in the area below and will continue to update this as we get closer to the event.

Suggestions for babysitters?

Dress Code?

The welcome party will be casual attire (anything you'd usually wear on a summer's day). The wedding ceremony and reception will be formal attire (dresses and suits/ties). We'd love for you to use the wedding as a fun occasion to dress up! The other special events will be cocktail attire (dresses and slacks).

Where is this wedding again?

The wedding ceremony and reception will be at Swiftwater Cellars, a winery within Suncadia Resort in Cle Elum, Washington.

How do we get there?

If coming from out-of-state, you will want to fly into the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. From there, Suncadia is a 1.5hr drive east on I-90, and you will need to rent a car or coordinate a rental car with others attending. We realize this location is somewhat inconvenient for many guests, but we hope the many fantastic outdoor activities in the area will make up for the drive. :)

Will I need a car?

Unfortunately, there is no public transit between Seattle and Cle Elum so most guests will need to rent a car or arrange a carpool. Uber and Lyft are not available in Cle Elum. Suncadia Resort itself is relatively walkable and also offers a resort shuttle for transport within the resort grounds.

What is there to do in Suncadia?

Suncadia and the surrounding region offer top-of-the-line outdoor recreation including pickleball, golf, hiking, biking, and swimming. Restaurants, bars, and some shopping are available within Suncadia and in nearby towns of Cle Elum and Roslyn. For some of our favorite recommendations see the "Local Activities" page.
