The hotels listed are just recommendations, not requirements. There are plenty of places to stay in/around the Franklin/Brentwood area.
The same goes for Nashville. However, if you choose to stay closer to the city, we remind you that it will require a 40(ish) minute drive to/from the wedding venue!
