Here are some of our favorite Madison spots - we hope you enjoy your Madison experience!
You can’t come to Wisconsin on a Friday night and not go to a supper club for a fish fry. Don’t forget to order an Old Fashioned (brandy sweet) and cheese curds. Our recommendations:
Toby’s Supper Club, The Old Fashioned
Finish off the night watching the sunset at the Terrace with a pitcher, and more cheese curds ;)
Start off your morning walking around the Farmer’s Market on the Capital Square. Grab breakfast from one of the many bakery tents. Our recommendations:
Chris & Lori’s Bakehouse (the best scones), Stella’s (spicy cheese empanada or any baked good), Madison Sourdough (bread lovers), Yumee (cookie lovers)
Walk off your breakfast with a stroll along State Street or either of the two lakes. Stop by any of the many breweries in town (more recommendations below).
Either cure your hangover with a Bloody Mary or continue the celebrations with mimosas at any of the amazing restaurants in Madison. Our downtown recommendations:
Marigold Kitchen, Short Stack Eatery, Bassett Street Brunch Club
Madison is rightly known for its many breweries. You can’t go wrong with any of them. Here are just a few of our favorites that are closer to downtown:
Young Blood, Working Draft, Giant Jones, Old Sugar Distillery, Herbiery (no hops beer)
