- Kimball Farm, in Westford has mini golf, bumper boats, a driving range, and (Andrew Mensch Approved) ice cream.
- The Andres Institute of Art has a large trail network and sculpture park.
- Boston is 45 minutes away, but traffic varies, so leave up to two hours.
- The Nashua River Rail Trail goes through Groton. It's a nice paved walk or bike through the woods.
- Nashoba Paddler has canoes and kayaks for rent.
- There are plenty of places to do apple picking in the area. Autumn Hills Orchard in Groton and Carlson Orchards in Harvard are both excellent, and Carlson Orchards makes their own hard cider on-premise.
