Groton is a town with a bedtime. If you're coming in from out of town on Friday night, please note that most of the restaurants in the Groton area close by 9 PM. There are a couple of restaurants in the mall that are open until 10 PM, and they're listed under Things to Do, but if they aren't your vibe and you're arriving too late to eat in Groton, you might want to stop for dinner on the way. We invite you to join us at the Groton Inn for desserts and beverages between 8 and 10 pm.

Both Manchester, NH (MHT) and Boston Logan (BOS) are reasonable choices for airports if you plan to fly, and both are less than an hour drive away from the venue.

If you're planning to fly in, we recommend renting a car.

The Fitchburg commuter rail line has a stop in Ayer, which is about a 10 minute drive from the venue, and a stop in Littleton, which is about a 10 minute drive from the Courtyard hotel.

Most trains going into Boston go into Back Bay and South Station, while the Fitchburg line leaves from North Station. Your best bet is to take a train into Back Bay, then take the orange line (or walk 10 minutes and take the green line from Copley) to North Station, then take the commuter rail out.

There is plenty of free parking at both hotels and at the venue.

For those who prefer not to drive to the wedding on Saturday evening, we have arranged for shuttles to and from both of the hotels where we have room blocks. We will provide more details about schedules as the wedding gets closer.

Importantly, we’ve been specifically warned by the venue that, especially after weddings, it can be difficult or impossible to get Lyfts/Ubers in the Groton area. Please keep this in mind.
