The story began on March 16th, 2019 in true Savannah fashion, Sarah &amp; Joseph met at the St. Patricks Day parade amongst mutual family and friends. Sarah was living in Binghamton, New York at the time and Joseph in Athens, Georgia. How on earth did they have mutual friends you ask? Sarah lived in Savannah for a few years as a child and met the Wilson family, she was welcomed into the Coffee Club (aka a gang of amazing women and their families) with open arms and kept in touch throughout the years even when her family moved back to New York in 2002. How does this tie in with Joseph? Sarahs godfather, Kenny Wilson, his sister, Lynne Williams, was roommates with Josephs aunt Carmel in college and they stayed friends over the years. While they both grew up knowing the infamous Coffee Club and attended numerous parties over the years Sarah &amp; Joseph somehow they never crossed paths. It truly was love at first sight that day in Madison Square! Sarahs mom actually tried giving Joseph Sarahs number but he refused and asked for it himself. Sarah then proceeded to not follow through on their first date after the parade that night and went back to Binghamton, New York for one month. Sarah moved to Savannah in April 2019 and when she arrived she decided to reach out to Joseph again, this time not blowing him off! Joseph came to town in May and they had their first real date which was live music of course, from there their love blossomed and they met up again a month later in Atlanta for a concert. After that concert they decided to travel all the way to Pennsylvania for a music festival together for a weekend, then went to Philadelphia, NYC and Washington DC and on their way home decided they did not want to be apart. Then the rest is history! Joseph packed up his life in Athens and moved back to Savannah to be with Sarah and here they are 5 years later!
