Am I invited to both ceremony and cocktail hour / reception or just the cocktail hour / reception?
Our vision for our wedding day is an intimate ceremony surrounded by our family. Due to most of our immediate family living out of state we want to take this opportunity to enjoy their company. We can't wait to share our love and celebrate with the rest of our wonderful friends at our cocktail hour / reception. When you recieve your invitation and also when you RSVP it will state if you have been invited to both events or just our reception. Thank you for understanding!
When should I arrive at the ceremony?
For guests invited, the ceremony will begin promptly at 1:30p.m. Please plan to arrive around 1:00-1:15 to ensure you have plenty of time to find your seat and settle in.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our entire wedding day is scheduled to take place outdoors unless announced otherwise. Please dress accordingly and take a look at our dress code description at the bottom of this page for any questions.
When should I RSVP by?
You're way ahead of the game! We ask that all RSVP's be submitted by August 6th, which will also be printed on your invitation. This will allow us to give an accurate final head count to our caterer.
Can I take pictures?
Our ceremony will be an "unplugged" event. We request that all phones and other devices please be silenced or turned off. We have hired a professional to capture these special moments for us and we promise to share them as soon as we get them.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes. There will be an open bar, though it will not be a full bar. Classic and easy to make cocktails will be available along with wine, champagne, beer, and other liquor options. If what you enjoy most is not a common item please feel free to bring you own alcohol. We only ask that guests remain respectful.
Are my children invited?
We do love your little ones but we have chosen to limit the number of children to close family and friends. We hope that you understand children are only invited if named on the invitation.
Can I bring a guest/date?
Although we would love to celebrate with everyone, we unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests. We can only allow the people named on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!
Will the shuttle run to hotels or personal residences?
Unfortunately, it will not. The shuttle will only serve to transport people to and from their cars at the reception.
Is there a dress code?
Yes, but don't stress! We'd like our guests to look and feel their best without overheating. The dress code is 'dressy casual wedding'. This means anything from a dress shirt and slacks, a polo shirt and chinos, a sundress, or any length cocktail dress is great! We kindly ask our guests to avoid wearing jeans and shorts. For the women attending, both venues are located outside on the grass. Flats, sandals, or extra thick heels are recommended. Pictures below.
