Our story first began when Sarah messaged Brad on Facebook the day after their White Coat Ceremony in pharmacy school

Our first date was at J.Alexander's in Nashville.
Brad had asked his sister, Katie, for some advice on trying to date Sarah. "I want to take her to go get coffee but I don't like coffee" was what I believe the conversation revolved around. Brad asked Sarah to grab some coffee and a bite to eat after he got out of pharmaceutics lab earlier that week but Sarah was busy studying for an upcoming test they had (and got a little scared).
Brad persisted, asked her out again, and Sarah said yes. The original plan was for Brad to show Sarah his fishing spot on the Stones River (Sarah didn't know it at the time but in the South, showing a girl your fishing spot is like taking a girl to your deer stand, you don't take just anyone there!). The weather turned poor and Brad had to switch up the plan - instead he took Sarah to J.Alexanders and then bowling at Donelson Strike and Spare

After our first date, we were inseparable. Our favorite summer activity is taking Brad's kayak to Percy Priest Lake and paddling over to an island to have a picnic and swim

Brad's first trip to CA (and first plane ride!) Taking him to In-N-Out was a must

Our relationship has involved lots of studying. Sarah and Brad were always very thankful to have each other as a support system throughout pharmacy school. Brad even broke into a study room at school so they would have a quiet place to cram right before a pharmacodynamics exam - talk about a knight in shining armor!

The proposal!
Brad asked Sarah to marry him on a trip to the Great Smoky Mountains (masks and all!!) - we both blacked out and don't remember if Sarah even said yes!
