Our Wedding

The Night Before...

Friday, June 11th, 2021

7:00-9:00pm: Welcome Cocktail Reception(basement of Nicollet Island Inn; 95 Merriam Street, Minneapolis, MN 55401) All wedding guests welcome to attend welcome reception on Friday, June 11th. Please wait until 7pm to arrive as the rehearsal dinner will be taking place immediately beforehand. Cocktails will be available for purchase, but no food will be available. Reception will conclude at 9:00pm, but the upstairs Nicollet Island Inn bar and restaurant will remain open until midnight. **No RSVP required for attendance

The Big Day!

Saturday, June 12th, 2021

5:00pm: Wedding ceremony begins(Nicollet Island Pavilion; 40 Power Street, Minneapolis, MN 55401) Ceremony will take place outside overlooking the Mississippi River, please enter ceremony by following walking path around the side of the building. Cocktails, dinner, and dancing will follow!

Shuttle Information

Thank you to those of you who are generously contributing to our cookie table tradition! You are ableto drop off your cookies at the Friday night cocktail reception, or when you arrive at the weddingceremony. Wedding Weekend Information

Sarah and Brandon met for drinks at the Freehouse in the North Loop of Minneapolis in January of 2018.&nbsp;Conversation over drinks preceded dinner and Brandon attempting to teach Euchre to Sarah while listening to records later that evening.&nbsp;Over the next few months, their relationship grew deeper and led to Brandon meeting Sarah’s family at Easter (and Sarah meeting Brandon’s family soon after).&nbsp;A shared love of travel, sports, and good food deepened their affection, with the two moving in together later that year.&nbsp;In November of 2019, Brandon proposed to Sarah at 7 Vines Vineyard in White Bear Lake, Minnesota followed by a surprise celebration with family and friends.&nbsp;The next adventure for the couple is exploring life together on the East Coast as they move in to their first home in southern New Jersey. We are so excited to share this wedding experience with our closest family and friends. We hope you are able join in on the celebration of love with us!

Our Story

The easiest airport option is Minneapolis−Saint Paul International Airport (MSP). It is separated in to two terminals with Minneapolis Metro light rail stations and rental car agencies on site.

Today this bridge is used as a pedestrian and bike bridge,&nbsp;and provides a panoramic view of Minneapolis skyline and Mississippi river.

Matt’s Bar &amp; Grill, now a Minneapolis landmark, began in 1954 as a neighborhood burger eatery. Shortly after they opened, the “Jucy Lucy” hamburger was created and a local legend was born. Matt's bar is a must if you are looking for a taste of the upper-Midwest, but bring cash! Matt's does not accept plastic.

The wedding cookie table is a beloved tradition in Northern Ohio that became prevalent from a combination of the high influx of immigrants that came to the area in the early Twentieth century, their baking traditions, the expense of an elaborate wedding cake, and the hardship caused by the Great Depression.&nbsp;The expense of a wedding cake was offset when baking the wedding cookies was shared amongst the family and therefore became a labor of love.&nbsp; It is our honor to involve all of those who are interested in bringing this tradition to our big day.&nbsp;If you are so inclined to assist, please share the quantity of cookies that you plan to provide.&nbsp;There can never be too many :)
