Conner and Sarah met in March of 2020 on a dating app called Hinge. Conner's sister, Hanna, set up his dating profile in hopes he would meet someone. It was pretty obvious to Sarah when they matched on the app that his sister had set up his profile, which she found endearing. It even turned out after Sarah accepted the match request, that she realized she knew Hanna through showing horses. This made for a great conversion starter.

We were right in the middle of the pandemic and going out on dates was pretty much impossible. Conner asked Sarah on their first date on March 29th, they went hiking at his hunting property. Sarah brought her dog, Caesar on their first date. They hiked and talked for hours and ended the day getting take out and eating in a parking lot since all the restaurants were shut down due to COVID.

The next few dates included activities like watching movies in the bed of a truck while eating pizza and drinking wine. It only took a few days for Conner to introduce Sarah to his family.

On December 22nd 2023, Conner asked Sarah if she could come with him to his hunting property to help him feed deer. So Sarah, Conner and Caesar headed out that morning. After finishing up for the day, Conner told Sarah there was one more thing he needed to do before they left. He then got down on one knee, in the same spot they shared their first date, and asked her to marry him.


It turned out, Conner had been carrying a ring on him since August, he took it with him on their family trip to Greece with the intention to ask her then. But he felt the time wasnt right, he wanted it to be just the two of them. (And Caesar of course)
