How do the shuttles work?
The shuttles will run from the hotel to the ceremony site (3:30 pm), from the ceremony site to the reception hall (5:00 pm), and the reception hall back to the hotel (11:15 pm, 12:25 am and 1:30 am). We only have them booked for these specific times, so make sure to plan accordingly.
The shuttles are free to our guests - take advantage of them! Uber and Regina cabs will gladly drive out to Lumsden as well. Whatever you do, please do not drink and drive.
What time should I arrive if I’m not taking the shuttle?
The ceremony will begin at 4:15 pm. Please arrive 20-30 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow time for parking, to find your seat, and to have your photo taken by our photographer. The ceremony site is a short walk down a steep hill from the parking lot. If you think you will need help getting down the hill, please arrive even earlier to be driven down.
What is the dress code?
The dress code is formal cocktail attire. Spring & summer pastel colours are encouraged. Please no jeans or denim, and avoid shades of white if you are wearing a dress. Flat shoes are recommended as there is quite a steep hill going down to the ceremony site.
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Both! Our short ceremony will be outdoors. Flat shoes are recommended as there is quite a steep hill going down to the ceremony site. The cocktail hour and reception will be indoors.
Do I need cash for the bar?
YES! Drink tickets will be 1 for $3 OR 7 for $20. Espresso Martinis and Margaritas are in your near future!
