We highly suggest taking public transport to the Ecotrust building. The Portland Tri-Met traverses all the major neighborhoods on the west side and offers frequent rides in air-conditioned cabins either on buses or on the rail. The closest tri-met stop is on the Yellow Line at “Union Station/NW 6th and Hoyt”. Then it is a short 0.3 mile walk in the lovely Pearl District to our event center. You can download the hop fastpass app on your phone to plan a trip from your location on street car/bus/rail, keep/purchase tickets, and stay updated on service alerts.

We recommend the Lovejoy Building Garage Parking on 1331 NW Lovejoy St. It is an 8 minute walk away from the venue, and it is a covered parking garage. The closest public parking lot is on 578 NW 10th Ave. This is metered parking, and spots are not guaranteed to be available.

We will be serving taco plates from Tamale Boy, one of our favorite local spots. Tacos will be beef (tinga de res), pork (chile verde), and marinated cauliflower and potato (vegan and SO delicious!). Each plate will be served with pinto beans and Mexican rice. Alternatively, you’re welcome to head downstairs to Hot Lips Pizza to grab yourself a slice!

Casual Cocktail. We want guests to feel comfortable in whatever clothing they feel confident in, however keep in mind the season, temperature, and your exposure to the elements on a rooftop. We ask that guests stay away from ultra-casual wear like jeans, T shirts, or flip flops, or ultra-formal wear like floor-length gowns or tuxedos.

We have been living together for four years and have settled quite comfortably with a lot of our home-y items. We ask that guests consider donating to our honeymoon so that we are able to have the most wonderful honeymoon in Western Canada!
