Sarah and Shane met in the summer of 2011 at the lake in their hometown of Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Sarah was entering her senior year of high school, and Shane was about to start college. Although there were a few sparks at first, it would be another four years before their relationship really took off.
In the six years they've been together, Sarah and Shane have graduated college together; gone through further education and obtained advanced degrees; traveled to Europe; moved from Nebraska to Kansas City, Missouri, then to Rapid City, South Dakota; bought a house; and (their pride and joy), brought home their two dogs, Aspen and Timber.
