An Unexpected Beginning, a Forever Ending.

As Big Anthony—Anthony’s dad—likes to say, “They’re not all first-round picks.” And in the case of Sarah and Anthony, he couldn’t have been more right…let’s rewind and provide some context here. —&nbsp; In the summer of 2021, both Anthony and Sarah were closing chapters and making space for something new, but neither of them knew just how life changing that “new” would end up being.&nbsp; After reconnecting years after high school, Lindsay invited Anthony to join their friend group at EDC Orlando—where one of those friends happened to be her best friend from West Hills Day Camp, Sarah. What started as a spontaneous “yes” turned out to be one of the best decisions either of them ever made.

But their story really started a bit earlier—when Lindsay, master of all things spontaneous and sentimental, invited Sarah and Anthony to a surprise birthday party for her (now husband and now groomsman) Nico. What seemed like a casual get-together was actually a carefully crafted setup. Lindsay’s true motive? To spark a connection between her two favorite people. And let’s just say… she nailed it. If matchmaking were an Olympic sport, she’d be taking home the gold—and delivering a speech at the reception. As if written in the stars—or maybe scribbled in Lindsay’s day planner—Sarah and Anthony hit it off instantly. Conversation flowed like they’d known each other for years, and from that night forward, everything unfolded with the kind of ease that only happens with a soulmate.&nbsp; They didn’t just date—they became part of each other’s worlds. Sarah was embraced by Anthony’s family from the moment she walked up to the door, with Krista, Anthony’s mom, greeting her in a full hug before she could even say hello. And Anthony won over Sarah’s family during their first Christmas together in 2021, when he helped her nephew, Theo, bring a dream to life: building a Batman cave. (To this day, Theo still believes Uncle Anthony is part superhero.) Of course, like any great love story, there was one almost red flag. As things got serious, Sarah found herself bracing for the moment the magic might wear off—when the so-called “other shoe” might finally drop. And then… she met Bella. Anthony’s strong-willed, loyal, slightly suspicious-of-strangers pitbull, who at first greeted Sarah with side-eyes and hesitation. Sarah wondered—was this the dealbreaker? But just like her dad, Bella quickly fell for Sarah’s warmth, and in no time at all, went from guarded to glued at the hip. Any red flags turned into big, tail-wagging red hearts.

Two and a half years later, in the summer of 2024, Anthony had one more surprise in store. He opened the front door to what Sarah believed was another joint birthday celebration for her sisters—Meredith, Carolyn, and Jackie. Never mind the taco truck parked out front. Or the dozens of family cars lining the block. Or the tables dressed with photos from every stage of their relationship. In true Sarah fashion, she didn’t suspect a thing. It wasn’t until Anthony gently pointed out that both of their families were there—just for them—and dropped to one knee, that it all clicked. With tears in her eyes and joy in her heart, Sarah said, “Yes, of course!”—then followed it up, perfectly on-brand, with a heartfelt, “Thank you!!”

Needless to say, some love stories are written in the stars—others are gently nudged along by a very determined bridesmaid who believed in something before we even saw it ourselves. What started as a simple introduction turned into the greatest adventure of our lives. We’ve laughed, we’ve grown, we’ve built a life we’re so proud of—and now, we get to take the next step surrounded by the people who mean the most to us. Having each of you there as we start this new chapter means everything. Your love, support, and friendship have shaped our journey, and we can’t wait to celebrate this moment with you—together, as one big family ♥️.

What time should I arrive? When should I leave?We recommend arriving by Wednesday (March 4) or Thursday (March 5) to give yourself time to relax, soak in the Cabo sunshine, and join us for the welcome festivities! While some guests may head home on Sunday, others are extending their stay to make the most of our room block and all the beauty Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach has to offer. What’s the dress code for the wedding?Our wedding will be "Formal Beach Chic" — stylish but breathable, elevated but still relaxed enough for Cabo sunshine! For men: lightweight suits or dress pants with a button-down (ties optional).For women: colorful or elegant dresses, flowy fabrics, and chic resortwear.For everyone: think polished looks that work well in warm weather and on sand! **Quick tip: Since the resort is built into the mountainside, it can get breezy once the sun sets. We recommend bringing a light sweater, wrap, or jacket so you can stay warm and comfortable while dancing the night away. Will transportation be provided between the ceremony and reception? Yes! After the ceremony, golf carts will be waiting at the exit of the garden to shuttle guests down to the Ocean Breeze Deck on the beach, where the celebration continues with cocktails and our reception by the sea. Do I need an international phone plan?&nbsp;Whether or not you need an international phone plan depends on your device, carrier, and personal preference. For many, it may not be necessary—our resort has excellent Wi-Fi, and iMessage works perfectly over the network. As an alternative to FaceTime audio or video, enabling Wi-Fi calling on your phone (if supported by your carrier) is a great way to make calls without roaming charges. Is the water safe to drink?Yes, the resort has a water filtration system—including for the ice (for those like Sarah who need to know 😄). That said, as an extra precaution, bottled water is always available and regularly stocked in your room. If you venture into town, most tourist-friendly spots use filtered water, but the safest bet is sticking to the resort’s supply. Should I bring cash, or do most places accept cards?&nbsp;While the resort is all-inclusive and accepts cards for any additional purchases, we recommend bringing some cash to avoid potential currency conversion fees and to offer tips if you’d like, as a kind gesture.
