What time should I arrive? When should I leave?
We recommend arriving by Wednesday (March 4) or Thursday (March 5) to give yourself time to relax, soak in the Cabo sunshine, and join us for the welcome festivities! While some guests may head home on Sunday, others are extending their stay to make the most of our room block and all the beauty Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach has to offer.
What’s the dress code for the wedding?
Our wedding will be "Formal Beach Chic" — stylish but breathable, elevated but still relaxed enough for Cabo sunshine!
For men: lightweight suits or dress pants with a button-down (ties optional).
For women: colorful or elegant dresses, flowy fabrics, and chic resortwear.
For everyone: think polished looks that work well in warm weather and on sand!
**Quick tip: Since the resort is built into the mountainside, it can get breezy once the sun sets. We recommend bringing a light sweater, wrap, or jacket so you can stay warm and comfortable while dancing the night away.
Will transportation be provided between the ceremony and reception?
Yes! After the ceremony, golf carts will be waiting at the exit of the garden to shuttle guests down to the Ocean Breeze Deck on the beach, where the celebration continues with cocktails and our reception by the sea.
Will there be vegetarian/gluten-free/vegan options?
While this will be a 100% nut-free wedding, we will also have options available for guests with dietary restrictions, including gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, and more. We want everyone to feel included and taken care of—there will be a section on your invitation where you can note any allergies or dietary needs so we can plan accordingly. 💛
I want to play golf, how do we register for tee-time?
20% on Tee Times at our Quivira Golf Course, Jack Nicklaus signature (Discounts apply ONLY when prepaying through the Groups & Weddings Department). Player #21st is free when reserved as a group on the same day (applies only through the Groups Department).
Golf request must be made through salescabo@pueblobonito.com
How do we get around the resort?
The Pueblo Bonito resorts are beautifully built into the mountainside, which means some areas may be walkable—but expect a bit of an incline! Luckily, complimentary golf cart service is available throughout the property. Just give them a quick call, and they’ll come pick you up and take you wherever you need to go.
Will there be other events during the wedding weekend?
Absolutely! We’re planning a few fun gatherings before the big day to make the most of our time together in paradise. While we’re still finalizing the details, get excited—more info (and invites!) coming your way soon. We can’t wait to celebrate all weekend long! 💃🌴🥂
Will there be downtime or activities between events?
Absolutely! We’re beyond grateful to have all of our favorite people together for a full weekend of celebrating our love—and we want you to enjoy every moment as much as we will! The resort offers plenty to do, from relaxing pools to scenic spots. You can view more about all of the amenities and offerings on their website at: https://www.pueblobonito.com/resorts/sunset-beach
If you’re up for a little adventure, there’s also a complimentary shuttle that departs every hour on the hour and takes you to [Insert Destination], where you’ll find swimmable beaches, beach bars, shops and other attractions to explore and enjoy.
Do I need an international phone plan?
Whether or not you need an international phone plan depends on your device, carrier, and personal preference. For many, it may not be necessary—our resort has excellent Wi-Fi, and iMessage works perfectly over the network. As an alternative to FaceTime audio or video, enabling Wi-Fi calling on your phone (if supported by your carrier) is a great way to make calls without roaming charges.
Is the water safe to drink?
Yes, the resort has a water filtration system—including for the ice (for those like Sarah who need to know 😄). That said, as an extra precaution, bottled water is always available and regularly stocked in your room. If you venture into town, most tourist-friendly spots use filtered water, but the safest bet is sticking to the resort’s supply.
Should I bring cash, or do most places accept cards?
While the resort is all-inclusive and accepts cards for any additional purchases, we recommend bringing some cash to avoid potential currency conversion fees and to offer tips if you’d like, as a kind gesture.
Also, if you will be planning on using your card – a reminder to notify your bank ahead of time that you will be traveling out of the country.
What is the currency exchange rate/tipping etiquette?
April 2025, the exchange rate is approximately 1 US Dollar (USD) to 20.43 Mexican Pesos (MXN)
All-Inclusive Resorts: While gratuities may be included, it’s common to tip staff for exceptional service. For instance, tipping housekeeping staff around $10 per day and other service staff $10–$20 per day is appreciated.
Can I bring a plus one?
As we’re planning a smaller celebration in Cabo, plus ones are limited to those specifically listed on your invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Can I bring my kids to the wedding?
We absolutely love your little ones and feel so grateful to have such a special community of families in our lives! For this particular weekend, we’ve decided to keep the celebration intimate and adults-only, with the exception of immediate family children. Our hope is that this gives you a chance to fully relax, enjoy the festivities, and treat yourselves to a well-deserved parents' getaway.
Do you have a registry?
Yes, we do! You’ll find the link on our website, but we’ve also included it below for easy access:
