Is there a dress code?
We’d love to see our family and friends dress up with us! We are requesting cocktail attire (semi-formal) or formal attire for our wedding. Please no jeans, sweatpants/sweatshirts, or sneakers.
Are there any colors I should avoid wearing?
We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the Bride: whites, ivories, and creams. Other than that, please wear colors you feel most comfortable in!
Can I bring a guest/date?
We will only be able to accommodate those named on your invitation. Your invitation will be made out to “{Your Name} & Guest” if a plus one has been given to you.
Are kids invited?
We will only be able to accomodate those named on your invitation. Your invitation will be made out to “The {Your Last Name} Family” if your children have been invited and “Mr. & Mrs.” if only you and your significant other have been invited.
What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
The ceremony will start promptly at 1:00 p.m. and we kindly ask that you arrive and be in your seats NO LATER THAN 15 minutes before the ceremony starts. You of course may arrive sooner than 15 minutes before the ceremony to park, socialize, leave a message on our audio guest book, and find your seat. If you arrive after the ceremony has already started, we kindly ask that you wait to enter once the ceremony has ended.
Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?
We are having an “unplugged” ceremony so we kindly ask that you do not have your phones or cameras out during the ceremony. The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say “I do”. Our photographer will be capturing the ceremony and we do not want any phones in our pictures! We promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them! After the ceremony, feel free to take as many pictures and videos as you’d like!
Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
We would appreciate if all photos and videos were not shared until the day after the wedding!
How do I RSVP?
You can click the RSVP tab above to RSVP on our website. We will also include a paper RSVP with the invite if you prefer to mail your RSVP back to us!
When do I need to RSVP by?
Please RSVP by November 29th, 2025.
What if I don’t RSVP in time?
If you do not RSVP by November 29th, 2025, you will be marked as “not attending”. We would love celebrating with you, however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept RSVPs late. (This will mean you are not allowed to show up to our special day. There will be no seating, food, or drink accommodations for you.)
What if I cannot make it?
Your presence will surely be missed! Please RSVP “Regretfully Decline”. If you have RSVP’d attending, but find that you can no longer make it, please contact Savannah by call or text at (515) 357-6497.
What kind of food and drink will be served?
There will be appetizers/finger-style foods and desserts offered during the reception.
Will there be a bar?
There will be a cash bar available to purchase alcohol. Pop, tea, and water will be offered at no charge. Alcohol prices coming soon! Please be aware, absolutely no outside alcohol is allowed!
