Pokonobe Marina is located on the shores of Lake Mary in the Mammoth Lakes Basin. They offer a general store, boat, pontoon, kayak, paddleboard, canoe, and fishing rod rentals.

With over 100 lakes, the Mammoth Lakes Basin is a fisherman's paradise. Fishing gear is available to rental at select tackle stores in town or at most of the marinas. Or ask Brandon if you can borrow one of the seventy five fishing poles he will be bringing.

Wild Willy's Hot Spring is the largest of many hot springs located off the 395 on Benton Crossing Road. The hot springs are in the middle of a vast, flat plain surrounded by mountains and are free to visit. Parking can get busy on weekends.

The Mammoth Lakes Trolley offers FREE rides on all fixed routes in town. The trolley stops include all the best hikes and activities including the The Mammoth Lakes Basin, Reds Meadow and Mammoth Adventure Center.
There is a 3.25 mile trail that follows the Convict Lake shoreline. You can hike in either direction around the lake starting next to the boat launch at the north side of the lake or at shale beach at the south side of the lake.
Heart Lake is located in Rock Creek Canyon, halfway between Mammoth and Bishop. The trail is very easy to hike with gentle grades and very short sections of steep climbing making it ideal for first time backpackers and kids. You will also pass by Mack Lake and Marsh lake on your way to Heart Lake.

The 101-foot waterfall is part of the Devils Postpile National Monument and is a 5 mile hike roundtrip. The falls are known for the colorful rainbow that its mist creates.
The overlook is located across the street from Lake Mamie along the Lakes Basin Path and offers one of the most scenic views you can find in Mammoth.

The Twin Lakes are a short drive from the center of town. The bridge is easily accessible from the parking lot. Check out the various short trails around the lakes.
This 5.3-mile paved multi-use path connects the North Village to Horseshoe Lake and passes many popular Mammoth Lakes destinations, such as Twin Lakes Vista, Tamarack Lodge, Lake Mamie, and Horseshoe Lake, along the way. It may be accessed at many points along its length via the Lakes Basin Trolley.
Hot Creek is a scenic wonderland containing dozens of natural hot springs bubbling up within the rocky walls of a river gorge and in the shadows of towering Eastern Sierra mountain peaks. It is 8 miles south of Mammoth Lakes.
Devils Postpile National Monument is an unusual rock formation of columnar basalt "all closely and perfectly fitted together like a vast mosaic". The Postpile is accessible by shuttle.
Lone Pine is the gateway to the Sierras. Enjoy views of Mt. Whitney (the highest mountain in the contiguous United States), check out the Alabama Hills, or stop by the Museum of Western Film History.
