Our Story

Savannah and Devyn first met as medics at Legoland, but it wasn’t until April 2022—just before Savannah’s college graduation—that they really connected.

Not long after, they began dating. In 2023, Savannah started PA school while Devyn began paramedic school. Between classes and shifts, they bonded over country concerts, late-night study sessions, and plenty of medical trivia (yes, even on date nights).

What We Love to Do Together

Some of their favorite memories are the simple ones: country concerts, exploring new restaurants around Tampa, and becoming regulars at an all-you-can-eat sushi spot near Savannah’s apartment—even though Devyn didn’t like sushi at first!

Their first date was a showing of Doctor Strange (which Savannah may or may not have slept through), and from there, things only grew. Devyn proposed in the most magical way—with a horse-drawn carriage ride at a Disney resort and a surprise engagement party surrounded by loved ones.

This past year, Savannah took Devyn to Chicago for the first time, and they loved exploring the city together. Now, as they prepare for their next chapter in Kentucky, they’re especially excited to dive into the local horse racing scene and keep building new experiences together.

Fun Fact: On airplanes, Savannah always picks the window seat, Devyn the aisle—and neither is willing to trade!

What’s Next?

Devyn is working as a Firefighter/Paramedic, and Savannah has accepted a Trauma Surgery PA position with the University of Kentucky. After the wedding, Devyn will be moving to Kentucky to join her, and they’re looking forward to starting this new adventure side by side.
