Savannah & Jake met their sophomore year of college at George Fox University. Savannah lived in the Brandt dormitory with her best friend Leanna. Although Jacob lived elsewhere on campus, he frequently visited Brandt to complete his engineering homework with his group of friends. One day Savannah & Leanna decided to crash the homework party. From that day on, the group of guys had no other option than to accept the two girls into their friend group. Savannah & Jake hit it off immediately and became very good friends. They'd leave homework to the rest of the group and sneak off to get ice cream instead. Those outings combined with many unforgettable group adventures led to crushes developing. After about a year of friendship, Jake asked Savannah to be his girlfriend in September of their junior year!
