Alex and Sayde locked eyes at an Enterprise company happy hour in the summer of 2019. A couple of Sayde’s coworkers put a bug in Alex’s ear that she thought he was pretty cute. One unexpected text led to their first date on August 4th where they realized pretty quickly they saw eye to eye on a lot of things.

There were many nights to follow learning about each other, cooking, going on dates, planning places they wanted to go together, going through pet names and Alex being coined “Sugarnut”. Meeting friends and family members they didn’t realize at the time would become their own, making vacation plans come true, and Sayde sneaking right into Sugarnut’s new home, so she didn’t have to pack a bag every night.

Chill nights venting to each other, playing outside, date nights, many trips to Omaha and Cape Fair, theme parties, sporting events, goofing around, barbecues, weekend trips, game nights and their favorite, being surrounded by their amazing friends and family no matter the occasion.

Life will always present challenging times, but loving each other through it all has been easy. December 5th, 2023 they decided they wanted to keep the good times rollin’ for the rest of their lives. Cheers to the soon-to-be Meeks!
