I call her my Ace! Not only is she my sister she is my confidante, my cheerleader, my friend, and so much more. Sean has come to learn that Bebe and I are kind of a package deal and now he is stuck with the both of us.......forever lol. Bebe and her husband are moving back to Colorado and we couldn't be any happier.

Patra and I met at 14! We both have different versions of how this relationship blossomed into family but here we are. She is my sister in every definition of that word. She holds me down and keeps me very humble, and if you know a lot of Congolese people, you would understand. Patra has seen me through so many different milestones in my life so it's only right she's next to me for the next one!

Arezu is a college bestie who shares a mutual love of Jane Austen's novels which we bonded over. While one of us loved it and the other one pretended so we can be friends. Arezu is often called by family members "matata" , if you know, then you understand how fierce and loving she is. We've been through so much in this life and I'm excited that she'll be standing with me.

Leena and I met in graduate school and after one happy hour we knew we would be friends for life! My adventure buddy and always down for an event. We've experienced so much life together with so many highs and lows. Leena helped me get through graduate school and I'm excited that she is here to help me with the next journey of my life!

Nina is our baby sister and even though she is an adult, I can't help but see her as our baby. Nina is the family joy and it's difficult to not have a good time when she's around. She has an ability to make everyone laugh and just feel good. I definitely need that energy and pure love on April 19th.

I fell in love with Sheri through her shoe collection! The kindest, supportive, non-judgmental and most giving person I've ever met. Everyone talks about how difficult it is to make genuine friends as an adult and when you do it is truly a blessing. I am truly blessed. I couldn't imagine this day without her!

I met Ruby on my first day in college. My "ride or die" and the most dependable person I know. I don't know how I would of survived undergrad without her friendship. She has always made herself available to me and my family. Her support and love is why I had to have her stand next to me!

Marilyn is also known as our "American" since she was the first sibling to be born in the US. She is the kindest and sweetest of us all. M's selflessness is something to be in awe of. I knew her infectious smile would enhance the happy atmosphere of our wedding!
