Where should I fly to?
There are two airports on the Big Island. We highly recommend flying direct to the Kona (KOA) airport.
Transportation
We highly recommend renting a vehicle for your group. Alternative forms of transportation may not be readily available on the island of Hawai'i.
Uber or Lift
Ride share apps are available across the island, however should not be counted on. Our venue is located almost 40 minutes from the closest major town (Kona).
Dress Code: Beach Cocktail
Beach cocktail attire is best described as semi-formal beach wedding attire. Typically, men's ties are optional, but still welcome. For menswear, you can start with a classic button-down and dressy pants; then, add a colorful blazer or patterned sport coat for festivity. Appropriate footwear examples include nice loafers and on-theme boat shoes. Women can wear a cocktail-formal dress, like a maxi or midi, as well as a jumpsuit or dressy separates. A beach cocktail dress code gives you the flexibility to choose a vibrant color or bold print. Please note the wedding ceremony and reception will be held on the beach and in the sand, so ladies plan your footwear accordingly!
Gifts
Celebrating our marriage surrounded by those we love most is the greatest gift we could ever ask for. Please do not feel obligated to gift anything else, as your presence is the best present we could receive! Should you feel so inclined, we are working hard to save towards a down payment on our first home together. Any contributions towards our fund would be sincerely appreciated, and help put us one step closer to starting our family together.
