We're throwing a big ol' Missouri wedding in Lil's hometown. See below for everything you need to know about traveling to Springfield.
You can fly into the Springfield-Branson Regional Airport (the friendliest airport in the world—seriously) and either rent a car or take Uber or Lyft 15 minutes to the hotel. The airport is tiny, but it offers nonstop flights to and from Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, LA, Orlando, Phoenix, and Tampa. We recommend booking flights to SGF early and arriving at least a day in advance, because domestic connections can be limited. (If you're flying in from NYC and you miss your flight, there might not be another for 12–24 hours.)
If you're feeling wild, you can also fly into Northwest Arkansas (NWA) and rent a car to get to Springfield. Bentonville, AR is about 2 hours away and is a very popular hiking, camping, and kayaking destination. You can also fly into Kansas City, St. Louis, or Tulsa, all of which are a few hours away by car.
Let's go, baby. Springfield is an eight-hour drive from Chicago and a seven-hour drive from Dallas. You could drive to Springfield from New York or Philly, but you really, really shouldn't.
Eh, not necessarily. You can take Uber or Lyft to Hotel Vandivort from the Springfield airport, and the hotel itself is located in a very walkable area with coffee shops, restaurants, and boutiques. If you'd like to stay outside of the downtown area or explore the Ozarks, you'll want to grab a car as public transportation is limited. We'll have a shuttle to and from the wedding venue via Hotel Vandivort.
