It wasn’t always easy but the past 9 years have been a time of ups, downs, laughs, love, and growth.

We both met online and little did we know that after the first date we would be standing here today.

Dani and I have had a lot of firsts together—We bought our first house and recently this past year sold it and moved to another one, got our first puppy Moka together, followed by our big boy Mylo. Little did we know our trip to Mexico a few years later would mean finding our third little guy Bonsai and rescuing him.

In the past few years both Dani and I have been very busy with career changes, dog rescue, house projects for our new home, and growing both together and as individuals. In 2021 Dani and I started a non-profit dog rescue Because of Bonsai… Dani found a passion for search and rescue and is pursuing her EMT/Firefighter certifications in hopes to specialize in search and rescue. I left teaching in order to find work that helps me also focus other passions like art and cooking. I have moved up in Mayo and have taken a Clinical Research Coordinator role with Orthopedic Sports Medicine!

Our support from family and friends has always helped us get through things and we are excited for this next chapter and to be able to celebrate with those that we care about.
