What is the dress code?
Our dress code will be garden party / semi-formal! If you're wearing a dress or skirt, think anything from floor-length to mid- to knee-length. If wearing pants, think dress pants with a suit jacket or blazer and a button down shirt. No jeans please!
We would love for the event to feel like a garden party - fun summer and spring colors for shirts, ties, bowties and dresses, and florals. Since our wedding is in June in New England, be ready for a very warm (possibly hot and humid) day, so dress for the weather as well since the ceremony will be outside!
Are there any colors or styles you'd prefer me to wear or avoid?
Any color aside from dusty rose and sage is encouraged, as our bridal party is wearing these colors. However, it's not completely necessary if you're not able to avoid these colors. We also encourage floral patterned dresses and fun summery or late spring colors. Additionally, we kindly asks guests not to wear white, cream, or ivory as these colors are reserved for the bride. Thank you!
Are plus ones and children allowed?
Due to limited space, if you are receiving a plus one you will be notified on the official wedding invite and RSVP. If it is not indicated when you go to RSVP, unfortunately we will not be able to accommodate an additional guest, and you will not be able to bring a plus one. We thank you for understanding and respecting our decision!
Children that are allowed at the wedding are listed by name on the RSVPs. We are only able to accommodate these listed individuals.
Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?
All RSVPs will be done online. If you have any issues RSVPing, please text or call us with your decision, and we would be happy to assist you.
What date should I RSVP by?
We ask all guests to officially RSVP by May 23rd. If you have any issues with RSVPing, please let us know!
I have more questions about your wedding, who can I contact?
At this time, if you have any wedding related questions you can contact Shae. Either texting (978-809-8109) or emailing (shaeandjacob2025@gmail.com) would be the best method to get in contact with me.
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Our ceremony will be taking place outdoors, while cocktail hour will be taking place both outdoors and indoors, and our reception will be held indoors. Our wedding venue consists of over 200 acres of land that can be used for the entirety of the wedding, garden chairs, and will have some lawn games set up following the ceremony. We encourage everyone to explore the venue as much as they would like, and to dress for the weather.
Is there parking available at the wedding venue?
Yes! There is plenty of parking available at the venue. Guests may be able to leave their car at the venue overnight if needed, so long as your car is retrieved early morning on Saturday.
Where will wedding updates be posted?
As we proceed with wedding planning and have more information, we will provide wedding updates on our website here, and via email or text blast.
Where are you registered for wedding gifts? Where should we send/bring our gift?
You can find our complete wedding registry here on our website (and purchase directly from our wish list) under the "Registry" tab.
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, we'd greatly appreciate a contribution towards our cash or honeymoon fund. This will help us create memories that will last a lifetime, and start the next chapter as Husband and Wife.
If you wish to give something, you can have it delivered to our home at 580 Salem Street, Unit 35, Wakefield MA 01880. A wedding card box will also be at our reception.
Thank you so much in advance!
