We're getting married and would love to celebrate with you in Austin! Please note that all hosted events are adults only due to venue age restrictions. Our private courthouse ceremony with immediate family will take place on April 9, 2026. Following that, we’d be honored to celebrate with you throughout the weekend, and we hope it will be a memorable time for all! RSVP by 01/01/2026

Our Wedding

We first met at Gold’s Gym in 2023, although, “met” might be a stretch. We saw each other in passing, definitely did not speak, and followed the universal rule of never hitting on someone mid-rep. Thankfully, Michael spotted Shaina on Hinge in late November of 2023, and a few days later, we were sitting across from each other with two big ass pretzels and margaritas. We’ve been more or less attached at the hip since our first date. Michael met Luna (Shaina’s dog and a package deal), then we met each other’s families, moved in together, and started building a life full of tiny rituals, our favorite snacks, and our shared mission to find the best margarita in the city. On May 2, 2025, Michael proposed to Shaina with his late mother’s ring (with Luna's full approval). We celebrated the way we always do, at De Nada Cantina (the undisputed marg champion). We are so excited to begin this next chapter as a little family of three. To everyone who has been part of our journey—whether before we met or along the way—thank you. We can’t wait to celebrate with each and every one of you in the city where we fell in love!

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) is the closest airport and just 15–20 minutes from most downtown and South Austin locations. Rideshares like Uber and Lyft are widely available, but rental cars are optional if you prefer this instead. Parking is limited at most venues but should be able to find public parking near all venues. We recommend ridesharing when possible, especially if you'll be enjoying alcohol.
