It's not your average love story, but a photographer's hallmark movie.

Shalee was told about Andrew from her past bride Krystin and said her fiance has a cousin that she might be interested in. During that time dating wasn't the priority, but when she met him on Krystin + Caleb's wedding day in 2022- Shalee was being her sassy self and working the wedding day. Eventually, they got the chance to talk and exchange numbers. Andrew was the first groomsman Shalee ever gave her number to, his response was "Don't worry, it will be the last too" and little did she know... he was right. The rest is history!

Naturally going on a holiday together and adding a new location of trips together Shalee booked a photo shoot for them to do to create memories of a special place together. Bringing someone I loved and had the best time with to the islands was a special moment for Shalee and wanted to be captured. It was on the 2023 bingo card to get proposed too, but Andrew worked his magic and somehow got a ring without me knowing. He and Krystin worked hard to contact the photographer and let her know he would be proposing during our shoot. Little did Shalee know what was about to happen. Even though at the start of our shoot Andrew said " I'm so nervous I'm going to throw up" which should have been the sign! When he popped the question the only words that I could get out were "What are you doing?" Shocked and confused about how he pulled this off. Andrew down on one knee says "I'm tired of talking about it, will you marry me?" Crying, shaking, and on my knees in the sand... Of course.
