Josh and Shaniah’s love story began in the Summer of 2021 when the two met at work and Shaniah candidly caught Josh staring at her as she walked into their section of the office (he “Jimmy John’s fast” looked away as soon as she caught him).

Shaniah was the first to break the ice and sparked conversation about the weather — it was a chilly rainy day, but that’s the two’s favorite kind of weather — After all, when thunderstorms are in the forecast, it’s almost impossible to catch Josh’s attention. ;)

As time passed, it became apparent that the two had strong feelings for each other, had so many things in common, and knew in their hearts they were meant to be together. I mean they do have the same last name after all!

Fast forward to November, their relationship finally became official and long after, the first “I Love You”s followed. Since that day, the two have established their roots in Muscatine, IA, went on multiple trips together, and continue to explore new things.

While the two thoroughly enjoy a quiet night in watching movies or a new TV series, they also love seeking and planning new adventures, going to Osaka in Muscatine for date night, supporting small businesses, cooking together, weekend coffee runs, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers.
