Guests are able to self-park in any of the parking lots near the Merrill Hotel. This includes the lot to the north, the parking ramp behind the hotel, and across the street in the river front parking lot.
Where is the reception taking place?
Our reception will take place in the Grand Ballroom overlooking the Mississippi River. Upon entering the hotel, navigate to the elevators, and we will be on level 6.

Muscatine has plenty of cute boutiques, coffee shops, and restaurants along 2nd Street and the hotel.

Is there a dress code?
We would love to see our friends and family dress up with us! Black-tie attire traditionally means FANCY!
For Women: A tailored suit, glam dress, or classy jumpsuit - accessorized to fit the black-tie dress code.
For Men: Suit or tuxedo paired with a dark colored bow tie or long tie.
The only real color that is off-limits as a wedding guest is white or ivory and bright red, but there are some color schemes that work best for black-tie weddings. Most guests will stick to dark hues like burgundy, black, navy, and grey. Jewel tones and metallics are also popular for floor-length gowns or specialty dinner jackets.

Can we bring our children?
While we would love to see your kiddos, we decided to keep our ceremony and reception to an adult-only event (the only exceptions being the little ones in our bridal party). We hope you understand and can enjoy a fun date night!
