Shannon and Doug met the old timey way: by getting set up on a double date by friends in 2020! Their first date was a bit of a disaster— lets just say double dates are a bit awkward and Doug was a bit of a nervous wreck trying to make conversation with his beautiful date. However, their second date went much better and they've been together (for the most part) ever since.

A few of Shannon and Doug's favorite memories from their time together are many trips to Toronto, raising 2 adorable doggies, trying new foods and restaurants and attending a music festival in Montreal!

Doug proposed on a family Caribbean cruise while they were stopped in Puerto Rico. This was the third day of the cruise so he was forced to hide the engagement ring in a pile of dirty underwear so Shannon didn't find it. It managed to be a surprise proposal but the morning of Shannon knew something was up when Doug was up early and ready for a "walk around the boat".

We are so excited to be married and celebrate with all of our family and friends in May of 2024. See you soon!
